Fashion with Trend

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Operanation: Tall Tales transformed the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts into a fairy tale wonderland. A staple of the spring social calendar, Operanation raises funds for the Canadian Opera Company and gives space for the ‘young opera crowd’ to spread their wings. This year’s event featured Joseph of Mercury in a special musical collaboration with the COC’s Ensemble Studio.

Photographer Caitlin Cronenberg welcomed a bevy of VIP guests (including her dad, filmmaker David Cronenberg) to the opening of STRANGE/BEAUTY at Coldstream Fine Art. The exhibit featured a variety of Cronenberg’s work, including photos from the Cannes Film Festival and her much-loved portraits of Drake.

Cactus Club and some of Canada’s finest chefs helped raise funds for Camp Ooch with a socialite-studded dinner event. Cactus Club chefs Rob Feenie (Iron Chef Canada) and Cory Vitiello were joined in the kitchen by Buca’s Rob Gentile, Giulietta’s Rob Rossi, and La Banane’s Brandon Olsen among others. Philanthropist extraordinary Emmanuelle Gattuso surprised party guests when she announced she would match all donations made to Camp Ooch on the eve. Also in attendance: Dragonette’s Martina Sorbara, Jenna Naumovich Freda, Lynda Prince, and Mark and Vanessa Mulroney.
