Valentine’s Day will never be the same. Sweethearts, those chalky buds of candy bearing saccharine messages of love like “Kiss Me,” “Be Mine,” and more devastatingly, “No Thanks,” will no longer be available since the bankruptcy and subsequent closure of their producer, the New England Confectionery Company. But fear not, as the legacy of Sweethearts continues to live on in the form of Sweetheart-inspired clothing.
